Leslie on the Lower East Side

I've photographed Leslie DiNicola several time through the years and just shot her new album and website. This shot is from a great show she did at Arlene's Grocery a few weeks ago. She's always reminded me of an "old soul", like Janis Joplin. Very down-to-earth; very talented. After the show, I wandered and passed some great Lower East Side boutique shops.  Need to get back there when they're open!!
