Finding Paige Novick

This is my friend Paige Novick, a fantastic jewelry designer, cook, and mom. I met Paige a few years ago when I shot some promotional photos of her. We bonded immediately and have been friends ever since.

The morning I took this photo, we were meeting for breakfast at The Breslin in the Ace Hotel. Paige looks pretty glamorous for breakfast, but she is always glam - even when just in jeans and a tee shirt.

She lives nearby so we try to meet for girls' breakfast or lunch regularly, which usually includes another good friend, Gail, also a photographer. But that morning, it was just the two of us. It's these get-togethers, breakfasts, and even the quick cups of coffee in between that remind me how grateful I am to call these talented women my good friends.

Before Paige designed jewelry she designed handbags. After we'd been friends for some time, I was cleaning out a closet one day and came across a small handbag that had been packed away for years. I read the label and realized it was a Paige Novick.
